1 Year Limited Warranty

Cabinetry House warrants its products by providing the original consumer purchase a LIMITED WARRANTY for a period of ONE YEAR from the original date of purchase. Should any of our products fail due to defects in materials within this ONE YEAR period, Cabinetry House will at its own discretion repair or replace the defective part or product.

This warranty does not cover products which are misused, abused, mishandled, improperly installed, improperly stored, changed, modified, or are subject to extreme temperature or moisture level. This warranty is not valid for products used for any other purpose than the purpose for which they were originally intended.

This warranty does not cover the costs of installation, removal, subsequent damage, or transportation of the defective product, regardless of whether the work was performed by a contractor, service company, or yourself.

Variations in color and grain are natural characteristics in wood. Color changes may occur in finished wood products as a result of exposure to light and other elements that take part in its aging process. Along with color variation, solid wood products will expand and/or contract with changes in temperature and humidity, such conditions are not indicative of faulty materials or craftsmanship. In winter, when temperatures fall or when humidity levels are low, contraction may cause a narrow unfinished line to appear on wooden cabinets (also known as shrinkage). One can conceal them by wiping some stain on the line using a small paintbrush or a stain pen (available at home centers and paint stores or from your cabinet supplier).

Cabinetry House as well as our manufacturer(s) DOES NOT consider the appearance of an unfinished line as a defect and will not replace doors due to this situation. These material variations and changes are not covered by this warranty.

The Limited Warranty does not apply to any Product:
installed or used outdoors;
used for purposes for which it is not designed or intended by Us;
which has been subjected to misuse, vandalism, abuse, negligence, accident, or unauthorized modifications;
which has been improperly stored (if the Product must be stored, it should be covered and stored in a humidity and temperature controlled environment, away from direct sunlight);
which has been improperly installed, cleaned, or maintained;
which has been subjected to improper temperature, moisture and/or humidity extremes (temperature outside the range of 50-85°F (10-29°C) and humidity outside of the range of 30-55% are considered extreme);
damaged by fire, flood, acts of God, or other external causes beyond our control; and/or exhibiting normal wear and tear.
In addition, natural woods may vary in color and characteristics and exhibit subtle changes as they age. For example, painted doors, drawer fronts, and face frames may eventually have visible cracking around the joint area, and cabinet colors may darken or lighten over time. Sunlight, smoke, and other environmental conditions may also affect the color and integrity of the Product’s finish or appearance over time. These variations are considered to be the nature of the material in relation to their environmental exposure and are not covered under this Limited Warranty.
Certain household cleaners and other substances may also affect the color and integrity of the Product’s finish or appearance over time. Do not use abrasive cleaners, cleaners that contain chlorine, acidic cleaners, scuffing sponges or steel wool because they may scratch and affect the color or finish of the Product. Any such effects on the color and/or integrity of the finish or appearance over time are not considered defects in material or workmanship and are not covered by this Limited Warranty.
